An international
background
Stephen Norman contributed to these projects when employed at other firms. Rather than limiting his work to a headquarters office, he consistently chose to follow projects from earliest to final stages, typically moving to the country in which the project was to be built. This gave him a comprehensive view of construction techniques and traditions, and also provided him opportunities to develop long-term client relationships within a broad spectrum of cultures. In 1995, he began his own company in Dallas.
